Today is our final day in AZ.
We head back to Ohio in the morning.
This past week, we've been busy packing and saying goodbyes...
but I promised someone I would blog
(actually, I said I would post on Saturday...but Monday is close enough, right?)
so here are our recent random happenings.
Random thing #1:
Riker attempts to put anything and everything in his mouth.
He is especially fixated on our cell phones.
Like father, like son...
Random thing #2:
Riker has a tooth.
You can't see it in this picture...
Actually, you can't see it in any picture yet.
It's really, really small and just barely popped out.
But it is there (on the bottom) and it is sharp.
Soon, he will have one tooth and a round head...
like a jack-o-lantern.
Only way cuter.
Random thing #3:
Riker doesn't like to play with his toys in the manner in which they are meant to be played.
For example:
This play mat was not advertised as a teething toy.
Yet Riker chooses to chew on it.
And his teething toys?
Those are used for hitting himself in the head.
Random thing #4:
Riker still loves the pool.
Which is cool, since his mom and dad both like swimming too.
Random thing #5:
When Riker goes swimming without a swimming diaper,
it looks something like this.
We had to get out before that thing exploded!
We LOVED being back in AZ for the summer.
But now it is time to head back to Ohio...
TJ will be starting his second year of law school on August 23rd.
So long, AZ...you will be missed.

We have pictures of Shane's non-swim diaper doing the same thing. It was so full it wouldn't fit in his shorts so it spilled out the top and looked like he had two buts :)

Hey Lisa... so I always read your posts via google reader on my phone... hence why I'm lame and never comment. I read every one though... kinda' like a stalker... jk. Hee hee... anyway, I just had to post something on this one (as I was backtracking through your posts tonight) because I just started cracking up at his diaper picture, the comment about his cute jack-o-lantern head, and him chewing on his mat... oh I can fore-see all of the above in my not so distant future! Love you girlie!
