35 Things Update

#5. Try one new recipe a week.
Three out of four isn’t too shabby! I didn’t try anything new over Spring Break.
*
alfredo sauce: we are in search of an amazing alfredo sauce…this one was not a winner.
*
sweet and sour meatballs: SO GOOD! Riker could not get enough meatballs into his belly!
*
honey sesame chicken: meh. Riker loved it, TJ said it was good, I thought it was ok.

#8. Read 30 books
*The Soldier’s Wife…takes place on Guernsey during WWII, so I thought I’d like it as much as I liked “Potato Peel Pie”. I was wrong.
*Witch and Wizard…I found the characters annoying, which just make the book drag on and on.
*The Lying Game…I like YA fiction, so it was a fun, easy read.

#29. Print pictures to finish Riker’s clock
FINALLY! I started his clock forever long ago (you can read about it
HERE) and now I have the pictures all printed…just in time for me to pack everything up!

I feel like I haven’t accomplished as much as I would like…but some of the things on my list will just be easier to do once I’m in AZ (don’t ask me why, that’s just the way I’m justifying it in my head!). But our move to AZ is rapidly approaching, so hopefully I can start marking more things off my list!

Hey! So is "the Lying Game" book what the current tv show is based off of (which I have been watching)? Like about twins who are trying to find their real mother?
And I've found a pretty good alfredo sauce that I like. I like it because it doesn't call for heavy cream and doesn't require tons of parm cheese (which is expensive). We usually leave out the mushrooms and the tomatoes. Though we will sometimes throw in some frozen veggies. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chicken-fettuccini-alfredo/detail.aspx

Alice, YES the Lying Game show is based on the book. I haven't seen the show, but the book is pretty good so I might need to watch the show now!

I like your goal about trying new recipes! I've found a recipe for alfredo sauce that I think is AMAZING. I love it and make it all the time!
