My name is Lisa and I am a blog stalker.
It really isn't a serious problem. It started with following the blog of an old high school acquaintance. Then I started following friends of friends. Sometimes I will even check out blogs of people I don't even know.
Why, you ask? Some of their posts are funny. Sometimes they have pictures that are really cool. Other times it is for no apparent reason at all.
Tonight, I realized that my blog stalking is slightly pathetic.
TJ and I were at the mall looking for a new laptop/briefcase bag for him. As we were walking out of Nordstroms, I saw a girl that I totally knew. Luckily, just before I said "HI!" I remembered that I don't actually know her, I just stalk her blog.
Is that sad? Of course.
Is that pathetic? Definitely.
Is is going to make me change my ways? Probably not.
I have a feeling that I am not alone in this. There are probably many of you out there who are either stalking my blog or someone elses.
Perhaps we should start a support group.
We can be sad and pathetic together.

I do that too on occassion, but my sister on the other hand is pretty bad. Her screen name is b.surfer. haha I finally figured out what it meant. blog surfer. hahaha
That is funny Lisa. Yep, I too like to look at lots of different blogs. I have gotten better ever since I added the feature where it tells me when people post. I am less likely to wander that way.
Hi, my name is Dawn and I'm a blog stalker...wow, I feel a lot better now! Even people I know from high school but I don't really KNOW personally, I just love to see what's going on. I'm too chicken to leave comments because I don't want them to think I'm crazy or something since we were barely friends! But it's probably even crazier for me not to comment...oh well.
Wow it is so reassuring to know that everybody else does it too! Ha ha .. I know I do it(phewf-good to finally get that off my chest)! Well it is nice that you broke the ice for everyone else....I am totally for the idea about a support group : )
I stalked your blog for how long?? And I'm related to you!! I think I'd be the leader of the support group!
i think you picked a subject we can all relate to, even if not everyone will admit to it. did you even know that i stalk YOUR blog? bet not. hopefully there's not a cure because I LOVE TO STALK! blogs, that is.
We can all support each other in our blog fetishes. I think blogs are a blessing. For many of us our stories wouldn't get out and for others its an online scrapbook. Don't feel guilty. You are great to be so interested in others.
