Movie Reviews

Because I know you sit at home thinking, "Man, those Grier's are so awesome...I wonder what they do on a typical date night" I will tell you.
Friday nights are sacred in this house...meaning, they are reserved for just the husband and I. Rarely will we make plans with family or friends on Friday nights. Instead, the husband and I spend time together.
Our favorite date night activity consists of dinner and a Red Box movie. Unimaginative, you say? Maybe. But I love it. We always pull out the couch bed, snuggle under the blankets, and watch whatever flick we rented for the evening.
Wanna know what we've been watching lately? Of course you do. So, without further ado, I present Lisa's One-Word Movie Reviews:

Obviously, I didn't see this last movie with the husband. If you know him at all you know he isn't a chick-flick-watching kind of guy (but one day I will get him to watch the Notebook with me. I don't know how, I don't know when, but someday!)

So there you have it folks, my one-word movie reviews. Have you seen any of these movies? Let me know if you agree with my reviews (and if you don't agree, don't bother commenting, because I'll just delete you...this is my blog and everyone should agree with me!).

First of all I love how you call TJ The Husband.

Secondly, loved Ghost Town too!!!

Thirdly I can't believe TJ watched Austrailia and Mad Hot Ballroom.

Fourthly I love your Friday Night tradition, pulling out the couch sofa and staying in. When we lived in our apartment in Tempe before kids, not having a tv in our room, we took our mattress out into the family room and did the same thing. Then the next morning we'd carry the bed back into our room.

Delete me if you must, but Australia was not my favorite... in fact, I'd probably ask for my dollar back except Redbox is a machine, and it doesn't care. Mom and I did go see Confessions of a Shopaholic, and I did think that was cute.

Redbox rocks! I really want to see confessions of a shopaholic. Haven't seen Ghost town, but now I have to. Nick and Norah's was ok, not really a storyline there. Lastly, I liked Australia (Dave served there on his mission), yes it was long, but good. The aboriginal boy was so cute. I always say the line "It don matta" (with a cool accent).
