More Pumpkins...
Seems like I can't get enough of pumpkins!
This time we were carving them instead of eating them.
Hubs and I carved our pumpkins with friends Monday night.
(I left my camera at home, so hubs captured some memories with his cell phone...hence the junky quality)
TJ's pumpkin is throwing up pumpkin guts...
He thinks he's clever...I think he's gross.
Our finished projects.
My pumpkin is just big enough to cover my belly.
We are officially ready for Halloween!

Pumpkin Festival
This weekend, hubs and I (along with some friends) went to the Pumpkin Festival.
Why?
Lisa's reasoning: to see a plethora of pumpkins and eat pumpkin flavored foods
TJ's reasoning: his wife didn't give him a choice
Things we saw/did at the Pumpkin Festival:
Giant pumpkins with faces carved in them
A giant tower of pumpkins
Random pushups in the middle of the street just to earn a t-shirt
Horrific depiction of Taylor Swift
A memorial pie made in honor of the worlds biggest pumpkin pie...
not the world's biggest pumpkin pie, just a smaller version to memorialize it.
Pumpkin flavored foods that we eat:
*pumpkin donut
*pumpkin burger (basically, a sloppy joe with pumpkin spices mixed in)
*pumpkin fudge
*pumpkin cheesecake
Pumpkin flavored foods that we didn't have room to eat:
*pumpkin chili
*pumpkin pizza (basically, pumpkin pie on a pizza crust)
*pumpkin funnel cake
*pumpkin waffles
*pumpkin seeds
*pumpkin bread
*pumpkin pretzels
*pumpkin ice cream
*this list could go on, but I think you get the point
Fall in Ohio is definitely better than fall in Arizona...
hmm, pumpkins!

100
My favorite day of school has always been the 100th day.
Kinder teachers always make a big deal out of this day.
All the kiddos bring 100 somethings...
100 legos
100 pennies
100 Cheerios
100 marshmallows
and of course there is always to over-zealous mom who sends in 100 cookies or cupcakes that teacher now has to deal with.
At my elementary school, we had to search for Zero Hero.
He left us clues and we had to look all over the school for him.
We found him back in our classroom where he had set up a party just for us.
We played and/or ate our 100 things, colored pictures of the number 100, and counted in our loudest voices all the way to 100.
The day ended by releasing 100 balloons into the sky.
Isn't that frowned upon now? Something to do with killing birds or whatnot?
I looked at my baby ticker over on the side of my blog today.
I saw that magical number.
100.
I have just 100 days left of being pregnant.
100 more days until our family of two because a family of three.
100 more days until I get to meet the little baby that kicks me all day long.
100 more days.
I think I will celebrate the number 100 today.
Maybe I'll eat 100 somethings...

Mom's Adventures in Ohio
Living in Ohio is great...TJ and I are really enjoying it here.
BUT we do miss all our family and friends in AZ.
So you can imagine how happy I am to have my mom in Ohio this week.
Some highlights of mom's trip thus far:
Power Outage!
The power went out for several hours Friday night.
We amused ourselves by playing card games and Scrabble by candle light.
And mom was even able to read her book while looking snazzy in a headlamp.
North Market!
Since we've moved here, I've heard so much about North Market.
It's a cool old warehouse that features a farmers market and lots of vendors selling yummy food!
We ate some yummy samples plus a scrumptious lunch.
TJ and I plan to head back soon!

A Promise and a Picture
I feel bad.
By blog has been boring lately.
I vow to be better.
I promise to pull my camera out more often.
I swear I will look for blog-worthy moments.
But until then...
my belly, at 22 weeks.
Kind of a crappy picture.
But the hubs said I have to crop him out of this photo.
He may or may not have been doing something embarrassing.
(Hint: it was something embarrassing)
