DIM: Did It Myself!

Many months ago, TJ's mom gave me a vanity that she no longer had room or need for. I had big plans to sand it down, repaint it, and make it my own. Then life happened, I got busy/lazy, and the vanity just sat in my room. Finally, when the weather started getting all nice I got ambitious and started to work on it. After many phone calls, and a visit, from my uber-crafty mother my vanity is finally back in the house! It isn't perfect, so don't look too close. And I'm not really finished with it, I have more plans for it, but for now this is my finished project! I don't have any "before" pictures so you will just have to trust me when I say that this is an improvement!

Yet another reason why I love my husband...

My husband is crazy busy, like ALL the time. TJ is currently taking 15 credits at ASU (and maintaining his above 4.0 GPA), working a couple days a week at Countrywide, taking an LSAT prep class, serving as a Deacon's advisor at church, loving me, and oh so much more! But on top of all of that, TJ still has time to help me around the house. As my favorite quote says, "No man was ever killed while doing the dishes."

Each month, my mom's side of the family tries to get together for a combined Family Home Evening. Last night most of us were able to get together at my uncle Ron's house. As we sat around talking and catching up, I couldn't help but notice what a good looking bunch we are. See for yourself.... This is TJ's serious face...sexy.

But her sister's namese are: Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof, Pixie Frou-Frou Geldof, and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger-Lily Hutchence...what awesome names!
