Snow Trip

Yesterday, TJ and I went to Flagstaff with the Young Men and Women in our ward for a snow trip! The weather was perfect and the kids (and adults) had a lot of fun! We went to this private golf course and went sledding down the big hill by the 18th hole (thanks,Carson, for the prime location!). It was a great way to spend a Saturday!

Perfection

I loved Valentine's Day this year.
I loved spending the day with my man. Everything was so very casual, as if we had been together our whole lives.

We spent the morning cleaning the house together.
Ran a couple of errands together in the afternoon.
Went to dinner with some wonderful friends.
Came home early, pulled out the couch bed, and snuggled together while watching a movie.

That is my idea of the {perfect} day.

Apples for the teacher

Check out this totally rad website!

www.mrsgrier.com

I totally have {AWESOME} connections with this company called Revolution Strategies.

Typically they do political blogs but I was able to convince them to do a website for my classroom.

Jealous? You should be.
(P.S. It's totally TJ's company...I bet if you ask nice, he might help you out!)

Lately...

Apparently, I have been slacking in my blogging duties (thanks, Nat, for calling me out!)...but lately I haven't felt like anything blog-worthy has happened. That was, until I plugged in my camera to upload my pictures and discovered a couple of pics capturing some fun that was had!

First up, goofy golf with the Vilt family. On MLK day, TJ and I both had the day off so we barbequed with David and Brit (and baby Eli!), then took advantage of the awesome weather by playing a little putt-putt. Shout out to Brittney for playing all 18 holes carrying Eli in his sling!
(And yes, it is wrong for you to stare at my husband's backside...but I understand if it is difficult to look away!)
And of course, the Superbowl. At the point that this picture was taken, the Cardinals were winning (hence TJ's enthusiam). This year was the 2nd Annual Grier Superbowl Party, though we scaled back a lot from the previous year (cause 25 people is way too many to fit into my small apartment!). Because our numbers were few, I decided to try my hand at making Cafe Rio Pork. Even though my crockpot was a tad too small, it turned out great! I consider any party a success if the food is good (wow, that makes me sound like such a porker...embarrassing...) and we did eat good that night! That's everyone for coming!
(and if you are interested in attending the 3rd Annual Grier Superbowl Party, tell my husband to buy me a house)

Apparently my overvelous picture taking has been stifled lately, since I have just 1 picture from each of these events. I vow to become overly obnoxious by putting a camera in everyone's face from now on!
And, if you are thinking to yourself "Self, Lisa's blog has been lacking lately. She should do more fun things so her blog will be more interesting" then by all means, give us a call and we would love to have fun with you. Otherwise TJ and I are an old boring couple who do this:

Yes, that is Settlers of Catan...we play online with Calli and Lindsey...we aren't losers, just bored sometimes! I think this picture was taken because I won (and I never win so I was stoked!)
(oh, and Karisa, I know you mentioned that you and Ty L-O-V-E Settlers so you should totally look into this...its awesome!)
